5.9 Magnum block vs 360 LA block....

Seeing as you know about oiling and oil through pushrods about the only thing I can think about/read is the mid mount on the block causing header interference. I’m about to test fit my new tti’s to my magnum block (mopar crate 402) and check for clearance etc after the paint dries. I can report back if you like. I know I probably should have done it before paint but I‘m pretty sure I also remember reading on Magnum swap dot com
( Magnum Swap -your source for Mopar engine swap information. ) that he had no problem with tti headers and the mid mount/grinding etc…. I hope I read right. Lol

i included the link above for magnum swap as there’s also lots of other good info there. Like modifying the magnum oil pan gasket to use it with an LA timing cover etc…. (essentially you have to buy two gasket sets for the pan, the magnum gasket set is nice as it‘s the raised rib silicone type and is know for not leaking, you just have to chop the front bit out and use the LA timing case to pan gasket for that spot And use some silicone where they meet…
That right there answered one of my questions... I was wondering about the oil pan/timing cover cause I will want the early timing cover & obviously will have the Magnum rear main cap... Which I wasn't sure if it was the same as a regular 360 cap or not.... Thanks for that tidbit... I'll be checking out the Magnum Swap link..

I have a line on a 96 5.9 block which from what I've read should have the oil passages... I also have a Bridgeport so drilling a couple oil holes isn't much of an issue...
