I've got a 74 Duster that needs the spare tire well replaced. Ordering a patch panel would be easy, but dang they're $200-$300 after shipping! I thought I might go out to the junk yard and find a spare tire well to cut out of something. Has anyone scavenged a spare tire well from something else? Or have any idea on a replacement that can be made without fancy metal working tools? I'm looking for some inspiration
