hood scoop reinforcement and 3M panel glue?
I have an aluminum plate jb welded to the underside of my glass 6 pack hood to seal the air cleaner. It will go way over 100 in the 1/8th with no issues and heat has not been an issue. The hood did start to buckle in the center (perpendicular to the crankshaft) after I ran it out the back door a few times. My fix was to use 8 million rivets to secure some aluminum angle to the outter edges where the underside of hood meets fender (parallel to the crankshaft). JB Weld bonds plastic, metal anf fiberglass (it says so on the packaging).
