Fall drive from PA to Maryland? Why yes there are non- Interstate routes for that.

Well I did it again a few weeks ago, sort of.
I must confess I did use the interstate as I had the "Disco Wagon.. which is my F body Family Hauler, and It is all stock 'cept for the wheels. Yes it still has the factory thermoquad and the Lean Burn System. It's great on the hiways with the 2.41:1 Gears, but not so much in the mountains - lots of manual downshifting to "2" on the 904 selector.
We explored Catoctin Mountain National Park, Cunningham Falls, and the Greater Waynesboro Area around Camp David, MD.
We started out Saturday Morning around 06:00 - quite a feat to get the girls in the car and on the move that early.
It rained through all of the elevation gain to and past our highest point, Keysers Ridge in Maryland where we stopped for breakfast.
The leaves were changing and falling.
We got to the show mid morning on Saturday.. Here are some of my favorites..
