Mr. Featherduster, you read my mind. I am 73. As a young kid, I used to go to the YMCA. They had one of those pop machines you mention. I would get a pop for 5 cents, and then I would put a penny in a machine that gave me a handful of peanuts. I'd take a drink of my pop and then put the peanuts in the bottle. It was such fun to drink the pop and get a few peanuts with each gulp.
