One more question, if the pipe at the inlet and outlet is 2.5in OD and both sides are welded to the current muffler, should I be ordering the identical 2.5in OD or drop down to 2.25in OD? I will need to take them to a muffler shop to get them installed because I can’t do it myself anymore.
If they are careful, they should be able to cut the muffler bushings off the pipes and still enable you to slide new 2.5" ID mufflers on. Assuming they had the bends at the right angles.
