Guess the HP!

So, to this point it would appear the number is at least 539hp@5200.
Not too far off the estimates that were in the 560-580 range.

Whenever the hp peak happens “too low” in the curve, I’m usually suspicious of the valve spring situation.

Do you know what springs are on the heads, and at what installed height?

That thing should be able to hang on to around 6k before the hp starts dropping off.

If the TQ peak is indeed happening at 5200………that’s promising for getting the hp numbers to come up some.

To speculate a bit…….
If it lost about 40ft/lbs by 6000rpm(545@5200 down to 505@6000), you’d end up with 576hp.
If it happened by 5800, you’d get 557hp.
By 5700, 548hp.

Assuming the TQ peak is actually occurring in the 5200 range…….in order to lose 40ft/lbs from 5200 to 5700…….. “something” would have to be pretty unhappy.
