Lookie what I got today.

i had not mentioned i am Right Hand Drive
you are not, so those filters have a provision on the base for a throttle cable stop

you could put your pull lever facing up and have your throttle cable pull the other way using one of the bases as the stop/clamp point for your throttle cable outer

i have made good use of JINLIN FAJS (cheap chinese carb maker) bits and bobs i.e a jet cover from them costs less than a real one has no impact on operation...

but the best bit was the phenolic spacers i purchased i used these with 2 sets of paper gaskets to insulate my carbs from manifold heat My inlet like yours shares the same space as the exhaust manifold so although i had no problems i felt it made sense

You can add 5-10 HP by enclosing the carb tops and trumpets or filters in a huge air box and feeding the air box from cool air from under or front of car
if it worked for Porsche it will work for us.

Porsche took the attitude that water out of a sink flowed down the drain fastest when un impeded by flow into the sink and when the drain was in the middle
that what you try to achieve with an air box air going down 6 drains

you need the trumpet diameter + 1/2 an inch between end of trumpet and top of filter or wall of air box.. air going round corners likes to swing out the rear end under-steer style gotta let em breath :) don't use the expensive trumpet-top mesh filters or close fitting socks you can loose 20+ hp at the top end.

Air box

this man swears, i don't think he notices he is :) if you offended by swearing don't watch. But if you can get over that Chris is a good guy... always happy to help, and sell you something....

keep in mind he is an enthusiastic hobbiest who has made a business out of his passion for 6 cylinder Aussie motors and has a product to sell. i.e take some of the figures with a pinch of salt.

if it works on a hemi 6 it will work on a slant you in theory have more space
