Patch panels
I will say I’ve done this repair both ways. Patching them is more work and is not as good of a repair as just replacing the full inner fender. I just finished this on my 71. I did patches to start with then wasn’t happy so I cut the whole panel out and went with AMD replacement inner fenders.
