Thank you very much guys, but now I realize that the tail shaft housing has to be removed from the main case.... :eek:
Is it possible to remove the tail shaft housing without the mainshaft coming with it?
I'm a total newbie in transmissions and dismanteling the gearbox in two exceeds my meager skills.
I think that I will only replace the tailshaft seal :rolleyes:
