No, tail shaft housing will NOT unbolt and slide off the back. You have to remove the side cover assy & forks, then remove the mainshaft/tailshaft as an assembly.

Run over to MyMopar.com and download a copy of the service manual, they are free. Some of them over there got there because of the guys right here

Some of them, you have to settle for a year ahead or behind, or Plymouth/ vs Dodge, etc. So check both listings.
