I wouldn’t do an NA Hemi then or now no matter how popular the general public thinks they are.

45 years ago when I got into it I would have swapped a hemi in instead of a big block if the dollars were similar.
Small blocks really weren't a thing in the Mopar world back then if you wanted brute power.
