Hays Street/Strip Clutch 85-301
I realize this is an old thread, however I post because it seems since the first post, Hays isn't using the black bargain store looking pressure plate any longer. After reading about the quicker shift potential without the Marcel, I have decided to give one of these a try.
In retrospect I never really liked the RXT in my car, don't like the diaphragm pressure plate pedal softness, and the clutch works like an on off switch, no modulation. No matter how I set it up, I've always struggled to get a quick clean shift at RPM.
When I install the clutch I will also go back to a light weigh flywheel, I put on a full weight flywheel a few years back, don't care for it either.
