Being a cheap SOB, got a 2006 Ram truck steel oil pan and oil pickup from Rockauto, $85 for both. After some careful measurements cut the sump off, reversed it, and painstakingly welded it back on in the center. Pickup is about half inch above sump floor. Big PITA but it should clear everything, even the slant six K member.
