My 1972 F7 Dart Swinger

I have two small runs in the clear, there is a little dust specks here and there, and very light orange peel. Overall I am really happy with the results considering I have never painted a car before.

The sand paper really adds up quickly $$.

I was looking at the 3D products already, and I will need to buy a polisher too, rotary or orbital, not sure yet.

Thanks for the info.
If you are happy with the amount of orange peel you have and only want to focus on the dirt specs and runs, You might be able to use a carbide tool to cut the runs and dirt out. Then use the 3 step polish to remove the haziness left behind from cutting the blemishes out. You would want to take care not to scratch or gouge with the tool. Just shave off flat with the surface on either side.
