Using the thread posted by @toolmanmike as a reference, I got the e-trunk latch installed and wired up last weekend! I've also installed a slim sub that will be hidden under the rear seat. The controller for the sub and the trunk button will be installed on a custom made bracket that I'll attach to the underside of the front seat frame. Easy enough to use but not plainly visible to the casual onlooker.
