1969 Dart Swinger dash plastic bezel over heat defroster area.

Was the plastic product designer having a rough day measuring that day,or can this piece be year specific,and I might have a 67 or 68 bezel.At the left bottom the little extended tab does not match up with the main dash bezel lines.If this indeed was a production error,and they just went with it,it would be fun to start a conversation with other production defects.All in all,though,I found all my A body cars to be very well designed and put together.

Production tolerances. The engineering wasn't that precise back then especially with something like a plastic dash trim piece. The assembly wasn't precise either. Rumor has it most of the assembly line workers were stoned while clocked in and putting your car together. Lots of mistakes were made.
