Are my upper control arms unusable now? 1973 Dart.

You simply can't stop pretending to be a bully. Were you bullied growing up? I'm very sorry if you were.
I'm way ahead of you. I already made one of these up from stuff I already had laying around. It worked great removing the rubber bushing and sleeve but left the bushing shell in the arm. Now I need to make a tool to do just that. I've been making my own puller/installer tools for years. I'll figure this one out, unless you have some advice to help me out(hopefully, without the ridicule). Is that what the smaller washers do?

If you actually read my comments, you'll see I've told you, step by step, how to properly do this job AND check to see if you screwed up your control arm. You're just focusing on the fact I called you out for being rude, which you are.

You're the one that asked for help, but can't be bothered to listen or answer questions that people that actually know what they're doing would need answers to in order to truly help you.

As for your "tool", if it left the shells in the arms you did it wrong. The pipe and washers have to be large enough in diameter to capture the shell. Properly constructed that tool will pull the shell easily, the one I posted a picture of has done just that many times.
