Just a quick post on why as a head porter I like solid aluminum spacers over two inch ones.

Here’s some pictures of a two inch spacer on a Victor340 intake. As you can see the two inch spacer is an H design. The flanges are 1/2 inch and the middle is approximately .130 so when I know that’s what’s going on the intake I’m porting I have to be very careful not to make the carb opening any bigger. As it is I still have to remove .125 in several areas to just match up the spacer to the intake. Then that .125 has to be blended in before I get to the .130 in the middle of the spacer. That leaves zero room for plenum shaping. Just something else to think about. Will it work??? Heck ya but it just places a few limits.
