PAXTON SUPERCHARGER NOVI 1200 KIT

So i finally got the supercharger kit & it came with a blow-thru carb. Once i collect all the other parts i need like fuel pump, regulator & timing retard knob i will take some pics of the assembly & post them. The kit is the same one that Summit racing sells. The carb is a quick fuel 750 cfm blow-thru. They also recommend a 1-2 colder spark plug. Ill have to do some research on them. Right now i have champions 12ryc plugs. The kit seams kindve easy. The only thing im not to sure about is the oil return line. They want you to punch a hole in the oil pan with a punch & then screw the fitting for the line into that. If wouldnt be such a big pain i would drop the pan & weld a bung on it. I also have to get a carb hat, it doent come with kit. Ill keep you all posted
A friend of mine had a '71 Duster 340 and put a Paxton on it. He had all kinds of trouble. First, the hollow brass floats were crushed (4-5 psi boost), then the "hat" carb cover leaked everywhere, then it would run lean on boost. Over and over. It took him 2 months to get all the little stuff fixed and my '70 Duster 340 with cam, headers, and holley750 still outran him and was more reliable. Blow through is a real pain. You would be better off with a suck through turbo, plus it would get better mileage.
