Classic Auto Air update 3/28/2024

Yep, the original '69 crank to compressor belt has an idler on each side. I have the original idlers and an extra original AC mount bracket I can hack up if need be. So when I get to it in another two months or so will be looking to use a dedicate crank/compressor belt like '69 and back small blocks used with idlers. Kicking the can down the road for now cause car not assembled yet from floor replace 6 spd swap. So will circle back to AC quagmire can of worms two months out or so....

Maybe consider getting the add on lower pulley like came with my setup?
It puts the compressor and idler out in front of all the other belts and dedicates a belt for the AC alone with good belt wrap.
Just a thought.

I assume you would need the compressor bracket for a non factory AC car for this to work.
I will post a pic of this setup in a bit.
