Are 340’s rare

While 340s are not rare, they are valuable. They were made well past just six years, too. You have to include boats and over the counter parts sales with warranty engines and blocks and from Mopar performance as well. Both of those numbers are probably difficult to track, so there's no telling how many total were actually made, but rest assured, it's well beyond what came in cars.
