Ignition Issue That's Driving Me Crazy
I let the old/new wires go cold and checked another one again. Ummm... 15K OHMS! NFG, garbage, just garbage. If I knew from the beginning, I would have never bought these plug wires.
Got some photos of the old-new and the new magcore plug wires. The new carquest wires tested miles better.
Now that I am even more paranoid about new auto parts, when it comes to spark plug wires, a visual inspection at the counter is not enough. For now on, I'm resistance checking every new set to make sure that I don't have another long-term issue like I've been having.
