My 340 getting 6 mpg

My timing is 10 initial and 34 advanced. I ordered a 4.5 power valve and im going to see what mpg i can get this saturday

10 initial seems a little low, but I know it somehow has to do with your camshaft… I think…

On your carb you have 4 adjustment screws correct? I think they should be close to around 1/2-3/4 turns out.
