D100 rearend in A body

My 79 D100 came with an 8 1/4.

I have seen the 8-3/4 rear in 4x4’s and not in 5x4.5” bolt circle. I forget but it akin to 5x5 or bigger.

Plenty of c-body cores for cutting.
