Did dodge release a 71 challenger T/a 440?

in 1970 you could get a t/a with the 440 six pack. How do I know I had one. Also my father work at Dodge Main from 1958 to it’s closing one of two plants that assemble them. At that time you could order any combination you want. This was also after Chrysler fill their obligations of so many 340 cars for the trans am racing. I’ve never seen a 1971. All this about hoods and shortages isn’t true. You ordered it you got it. My brother also had a 70 challenger with a 340 3 speed. There was no wrong or right. At that time if you work there. You could follow the car down the assembly line which my father did. We ordered our cars from Garity motors in hamtramack mich. got order numbers from dealer and time of build.

Did the car have?:
side exhaust with tips
T/A side stripes
Ducktail spoiler
Larger size rear tires than front

Now I've heard factory workers loading up a their own purchased car with assembly line parts and options that the car was not coded and paid to have.

That car would not be coded for nor on the window sticker for those options. But you'd have to have verified dated pictures to prove that. Usually not something people did since it would get them fired at minimum.

Now if a car had "lunch pail" parts added to it, those parts would have to be available at that plant. You are not slipping in a 340 at a C-body only Plant since they wouldn't even have those motors on site.
