Time for a big block power steering conversion. Wisdom appreciated
The second issue that I had to overcome was the firewall plate. It did not match at all. Yet I took my old forewall plate out and separated it. Then I placed the bearing in between the 2 halves of the old plate. IT was very secure so I went with it. The only issue is that the lower shaft does not engage the bearing. To solve that I used a 1.5 inch piece from the old column to allow centering of the shaft in the bearing. Pretty easy for that
