Project Cheap & Nasty Updated With Back Story
Well, this project hasn't stopped completely. A couple of more baby steps. @Badvert65 sent me one of his slant 6 engine lift brackets. If you're a slant 6 guy, you need one. Very nice and it lifts the engine straight up as it sits in the car. This actually enabled me to finally get my engine dolly fixed right (as right as my dumb carpenter *** can do it).
Here it is, as it sits now.
I also finished the intake and exhaust manifold installation. If you've not seen my tongue in cheek video yet about the manifold hardware, here it is. My humble apologies for the video quality. I had both the digital and mechanical zoom activated and didn't realize it so they were fighting each other. But you get the idea. lol I'm down to spending money, so it's probably going to be a while for another update. I do still need a dipstick, too.
