New Intake and exhaust valves for my 70 U heads

I finally got my heads back late last week and took advantage of my time off from work and got my car back together. I must be getting good at this cause after priming engine with fresh oil and distributor install she fired up with like one turn of the engine. Sounded great and ran it long enough to put a timing light on and set the timing. I do have a couple of things to check like the passenger exhaust manifold to head pipe connection and also I'm pretty sure while struggling to get the drivers side exhaust connected I must have disconnected the linkage for the reverse lockout cause I'm pretty sure I was able to remove the keys from the ignition without putting the car in reverse. I need to get another gallon of antifreeze and won't be using the old stuff I did save. This winter project definitely worked out and went way over my budget but except for the head work I did it all myself. heads.pngHeads installed.pngwith rockers adjusted.png
