SB Stroker Intake Choices
Non-Airgap RPM (gasket matched) or
Weiand X-celerator (small single plane, gasket matched)
I installed the X-celerator on the engine stand and then put the engine in the car. I was ready for startup/break-in and then found a Trick Flow Track Heat in stock (at that time, it was the only one I could find). The ports aligned great (OOTB) with my ported Promaxx heads, so I pulled the X-celerator and installed the Track Heat. I was then able to start it up and get the solid flat tappet broke in and I had the car under its own power going up and down the drive. First time in about three years. But then the Winter temps hit and it went back into the garage until Spring.
I can't wait to start tuning this combo in the Spring!
