8 3/4 to Dana 60
Some progress on the Dana 60 project today. My friend, Rod, cut the truck floating axle ends and spring perches off. The next step will be putting in a lathe and cutting to proper length with chamfer cut. We will also be turning the axle tubes down to save some weight, shooting for .250 tubes. After seeing the construction of a Dana 60 vs 8 3/4 it is apparent why they are so much stronger. More updates to come.
