Master cylinder is leaking from the picture. Should be able to get a replacement without too much trouble. Might be able to get a rebuild kit and diy it if you feel comfortable, otherwise check out Rock Auto or your local auto parts store.

I consider myself to be a really good mechanic. I can rebuild engines, transmissions, convert an automatic to a 4-speed etc. I tried to rebuild a master cylinder once. It looked pretty easy, but after I was done it did not work. I haven't tried since. New ones are too cheap.
