Maybe you could use beehive springs?
I use them a lot.
However, it is difficult to get the spring seat pressure below
190/200.
The issue is the valve length and short installed height.
A longer .150 valve fixes it, but it causes Rocker issues.
Sometimes the rockers are just plain made wrong and I had had that issue
with even Harlan Sharp rockers. Most of the techs are totally useless,
It is never easy for us to get clearance with stock production small block
heads and a valve spring of 152/155 or more.
