Big Block Radiator in a A Body Question!!

It's from a good friend with this extra rad.I know it's good and no leaks because I put my inlet & outlet caps on it filled it with distilled water and pumped up the pressure on my radiator pressure I'm not a dumb *** rookie, I have built several race cars and many engines for customers for approximately 30 yrs.now.I am just asking a simple question to see if anyone has/ is running a 22" radiator with a big block. You don't have to be a smart *** dude..You know what,I am just gonna dump this abodiesonly site and use my own knowledge .It probably better than what y'all know anyhow.. Good buy..

Easy does it. He was giving you HIS opinion, which is exactly what you asked for.

No need to be a douche bag about it.

Now for my two cents, and you probably won’t like it either.

I never use more than two cores. I see zero need for more rows. Two big cores will out flow and out cool four cores.

Brass is heavy. Aluminum is light. That should be a no brainer. And yes, aluminum will cool as good or better than brass.

I wouldn’t use a 22 inch radiator for anything that isn’t stock. It makes no sense.

Build your cooling system correctly and you can ditch that electric fan.

If your cooling system can’t keep up between rounds you need a better cooling system.
