First car show -- advice??
Well, the show was Saturday and I didn't make it. Crazy busy week leading up, and I only had a little time to give a "once over" to make sure she was road worthy.
I've known about a charging issue for a while but haven't gotten to the bottom of it, and despite running "just fine" all week, she decided not to start Saturday morning. Dead battery. Okay fine. Got it on the charger, no go.
As I'm scratching my head thinking of what it could be, a stray dog runs up and she's sweet as can be. I have a tender spot for dogs and I couldn't just let her run in the streets, so I had a dilemma. She had a tag from the nearby shelter. The shelter opened at 10am, and the car show started at 10am. I waited for the shelter to open so I could have them look her up.
By the time I got a new battery and was ready to start troubleshooting the car, the show was more than half over. Oh well, there's always next time. Thanks for the advice and words of encouragement, everyone.
