68 Up heater control replacement plastic slider guinea pigs needed
Hi all,
My latest part is the plastic slider on the 68 up heater control. (I already make replacement pins out of aluminum)
Broken OEM
Reproduction (black for now but will be White in the future)
My limited testing shows them to work well BUT Im in need of some guinea pigs willing to replace them on their cars and report back how they hold up. Preferably cars that are driven enough to exercise the controls in hot and in cold conditions.
I'll send testers 2 free of charge. They can be changed out without totally disassembling the control but the control will need to come out of the dash. I can provide a step by step how to on the process if needed.
I'm also working on a center pivot assembly with nylon washers, spring washers and stainless steel center pin and Nyloc lock nut (more to come on that after the parts arrive)
