The horse is dead

I would have had to take about 1/8 inch out of the pushrod holes in the heads, towards the exhaust side of the heads. I just put the heads together and wasn't going to redo that. That seemed like an excessive amount. The mancini rockers cleared the hole, but the tips aren't centered over the valve during the sweep. I'm ready to just put some 273 rockers on.

That's what happens when you change up parts. Rockers from different manufacturers have different fulcrum points as well.

It is especially bad with a OEM hyd roller lifter and 1.6 rockers. I had to do a couple sets of heads opening the pushrod holes for hughes/crane/MP rockers. It is not a bolt on exercise and everything needs to be checked/clearanced.
