Well, that said then, you should be okay with 215 70 14 front. If memory serves the 66 B-Cuda wheel wells are tighter than that of my 70 duster that I use a centerline wheel with similar offset to yours (I think 3 3/8 backspace) with a 215 70 14 tire and it will clear the front bottom corner of the fender by about 1/2" or so at the tightest point of the steering radius.
I also had a 66 barracuda too and with 72 rallye’s rims and 205 70 14 there was zero issue. I believe those rims are only 5.5 wide (6.5 from ourer lip to lip) but they have more of a positive offset.
