What did you do for a throttle cable before the drive by wire by Holley?

OK, I have been going back and forth with my throttle cable option for my 5.7 hemi swap in my Duster. Not sure what direction I want to go. I have a Holley drive by wire pedal in hand but I'm not a fan of fitment mocking it up. I keep trying to talk myself out of it. But I haven't seen a bomb proof mechanical cable setup that everyone is using. I have a factory throttle body that came with my used engine. I also have a Terminator X that will run my 5.7 so I know the drive by wire is probably the way to go but I just am not a huge fan of the thought of the drive by wire gas pedal.
I made a throttle body adapter and use a universal 90mm LS style throttle body. I also had to make the cable bracket for the cable. Lastly, the stroke on the throttle body doesn't match the stroke of the factory pedal, so that requires some bending to get it right. If I were to do it again, I'd probably just go with a drive by wire setup. My ECU doesn't support it, so that's why I'm using a cable throttle. US Car tool is making an adapter now to fit the modern pedals into A,B,&E bodies now. I assume the factory pedal will work with the Holley.
