Looks like my son and I may get the original 340 and car back! Word is the owner rebuilt the 340, had the heads ported, and put a nice sized cam in it, but never fired it. So we may just inspect that motor, and use it to start. I posted here about getting the car back in another thread.
I saw that and comment in your other thread. That's cool stuff! I would certainly inspect all of it. Too expensive to redo. It'll only cost a gasket set now.
