What did you do for a throttle cable before the drive by wire by Holley?

Hi DanP, I'm in the exact same situation as you. I have the original DBW throttle body for my 5.7 and you can get a pedal off ebay fairly cheap. I think I spent $35. But, I prefer to use a cable operated TB so I'm going that route. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned that way (but not old-fashioned enough to run a carburetor). Something about being under the hood of the car and being able to rev the engine.

I ended up spending a lot more on a cable TB than Racerjoe. And then you need to make an adapter as he mentioned. The adapter is not a problem for me, I enjoy fabricating stuff like that. I do not have my setup running yet.
