Power to manual steering adapter?
I've thought of "extending" the column by essential breaking it. And I've have used the splined coupling before, which are now 3 times the price I paid for one about 20 years ago. I'm thinking of an alternative method like welding parts of 2 stock couplings together to come up with something like Bergmans "universal plunge coupling" for the Borgeson box in reverse.
