Magnum 5.2 & Doug's D453 Header Fitment Issues

i should also probably note that when the engine went in, it kept settling into a spot on the k frame mounts that had it offset to the driver side and had the driver side slightly higher than the passenger side. i messed with trying to position the engine just right but each time i put the full weight of the engine on the mounts, it just slipped right back into the same bad spot. it's acting like it needs an 1/8" thick shim under the passenger mount.

also, i have a "mini" starter from a '97 Dakota and it definitely would not fit through the window in the header tubes. seems like the only way it might fit is if i take the steering links off. is that expected?
