For what it's worth, I decided to go with an Interstate battery (after much research) for my everyday driving. I'll soon get the fake topper (third photo below) for my Interstate battery to make it look a bit closer to my AGM repro battery that is slowly losing power. The Interstate is a MTP-24 with 700 CCA and a reserve capacity of 130 minutes. And man, does it ever crank over my slanty! Huge difference from my existing repro unit. I pretty much tried everything with the old battery - recharging, putting it on the "conditioning" cycle of my Odyssey battery charger, etc. Nothing really worked. Every battery, including my repro AGM, has a finite life cycle. The old battery will be okay to get me to and from the car show, but the Interstate will live under the hood for everyday driving. Very happy with the new unit so far.
