Why would I cut them off? I dont know maybe because you can't physically install them with the wings. Like I said in my original post, this cap is NOT machined for the wings.
I pulled the part numbers off the seals that were in there. Looks like Chrysler used two wingless seals and offset them like you would a 360. I'll buy another set of seals and use the two wingless ones together. The hack way that Chrysler did it.
