What exactly does the switch in this picture do? It’s listed as an AC-Heater Blower switch. I am assuming that when the AC door opens or closes, that it flips the fan blower to high when either you push the defrost or Max AC?
I have gotten a replacement AC housing that has the AC flapper door that I am missing in mine. But this housing doesn’t have the holes for that switch, and there doesn’t seem to be a lever or anything to flip that switch back and forth. I’m wondering that if on different years or models it’s set up differently or can go somewhere else.
I guess I can fabricate some sort of lever to activate that switch too, or I’m wondering if I even need it. I can adjust the fan speed manually.
