In the quest for this, have you discovered or know differences between the later Magnum/ hemi/ etc alternators from say, 95ish to present? A member here seems to think his had some electronics in his (later) alternator which complicated things. I have not kept up on this later stuff. Probably the latest I have looked at was 2001--02 or so, and they were simply an isolated field alternator.
