Thanks Steve, I do have manual steering.
That’s a new twist , I haven’t thought of mounting it on the left side.

It’s low enough that you can see the timing marks so that’s a bonus.
I have the AR alternator mount but after seeing this I may say screw it and move it down like that.
The biggest issue is I run a Fluidamper and it’s old enough that it doesn’t have the recessed face. I’ve already made the spacers to get the pulleys to line up.
I’m not sure how mounting the alternator down there changes how I space it out.
I also run a mechanical water pump. So I don’t know if that would change anything.
