I have an issue with trans to flex plate

I'm having similar issues. I'll be pulling my transmission this weekend. I have a new flex plate with the larger register so I ordered the spacer. Looks like I need to investigate the front pump area for wear as well as the rear main seal. Was hoping to just throw a new flex plate with the spacer on. I have a feeling I'm not going to be so lucky as this has been going on for a while. I'll know tomorrow...
