well, was the lifters kept per lobe? If not, I'd use new lifters with it and do the cam break in. I might do the cam break in procedures anyways even if the lifters are supposed to be in order.
Cam and lifters are still in the spare engine. I would be putting in a new timing set while I'm in there. Just wasn't sure if my spare parts would be a viable option
